“REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD) is characterized by abnormal behaviors associated with dream mentation and loss of REM sleep atonia. Most patients with idiopathic RBD eventually develop a neurodegenerative disorder such as Parkinson disease, Lewy body dementia, and multiple system atrophy.”
